92 Tercel - Shaking??

So I have a 92 Tercel. Recently (as in like, 5 or 6 months ago) it started doing this shaking thing, as though it was a manual and was starting to stall out. It's an automatic. It tends to do it at about 40 km/h and lower. So I took it to Canadian Tire and the guy there said it was a bent rim. I don't know much about cars, but I do know for a car without a bent rim to get a bent rim, it would have to hit something. And would have to hit something hard enough to mess up the hubcap. I definately haven't hit anything that hard, and I told my mom, but she didn't believe me.
So I went and got a rim and tire from the junkyard and took it so Canadian Tire could put it on. It drove fine for maybe a weekish, and then it was back to shaking. (The SAME shaking with a NEW rim and tire)
The tire in question is my rear passenger side one.
I've also had the wheels out of alignment and felt that shake, but this one is different. As I said, it's more of a manual wanting to stall out feeling.
Mom wants me to do something about it, but I won't take it back to Canadian Tire for them to just do whatever to it, because I don't trust them anymore.

So maybe someone could give me a suggestion as to what I could do, what it could be, or something to check??

4th Generation

Could be that the wheels are out of balance, or a bubble in the tire.

shaky tercel

You might check the passenger side front axle, it has a vibration dampner on it, sometimes these come loose or fall apart from age and will cause a shake.

dont go to canadian tire... their service is horrible.. plus they break things on purpose so the customer will get it fixed.. im not too sure about the balancing thing, because if you doing 40.. it usually doesn't make a sound.. only at high speed it does.. however.. have you checked the other 3 rims? maybe another one is bent as well..

Question

I've heard that Can Tire breaks things so people will have to get it fixed. When we had the car looked at when they told me I had a bent rim, they looked at all the tires and stuff because they were supposed to balance them or something like that. How would I be able to tell myself if a rim was bent?

Also, why would the dampening thing in the front make a difference on my rear wheels?

Shakeing

Sorry it wouldn't be noticed in the rear, just the front.
