Replacing 97 Terc Motor Mounts

Just a few questions regarding the replacement of the driver's side rear motor mount on an automatic 97 Tercel. Any help is greatly appreciated.

After a read through of articles on motor mount replacement on other Toyota vehicles, the premise seems simple enough. Support the engine, unbolt, lift the engine and replace the mount, carefully lower the engine and bolt it down.

Is it really that easy on this Tercel? I haven't looked at it. It is in the shop for wheel bearings and they are suggesting replacing the rear driver's side mount for $200 parts and labor. The part from Toyota is $92, although they are probably not buying OEM unless requested to. I am inclined to save $100, buy OEM, and do it myself.

From what I can recall, the engine compartment is pretty tight. Can this be done from above? Is there a lot of crap to be removed first?

Is there any risk to lifting the engine just enough to pull out the mount?

Does the mount come out fairly easily once clear, or is there some hammering involved?

EDIT: Got the Tercel back home and looked around. It's too easy to get at from the bottom to even think about up top. I set the brake and blocked the tires, jacked the front of the car way up, threw jackstands under it, and released the jack. There it is. The protective shine of premium Castrol sparkling on the greasy mount (plus I hosed it down with some foamy orange scented crap)

So from here, just lift the engine a bit, remove the bolt, lift the engine clear, knock out the old mount, knock in the new one, and reverse everything? Do you need to put grease around the new mount? No special tools? Just want to do it right. Don't want to die under there, either. Thanks for your advice.

The steering wheel shakes too much at a stop when in Drive. The mechanic suggested the driver's side rear mount.
