Canada What Tranny is in 86' Tercel??

hey im looking to do a 4efte swap on my 86 tercel, want to know what transmission(s) are compatible with that motor, and mainly if mine would be at all. any helpw ould be great as i just blew y clutch out last week and am putting a new kit in this week, so a good time to do the swap im thinking

4th Generation

Wont work. 4EFTE is a "E" series block and doesnt bolt to the tercels tranny, you need a "A" series block engine to bolt into a tercel, the 3AC thats in it now is a bag though, id go with a 4AGE, those trannys arent exactly power hadleing

How can I find out if the 4A-GE motor will fit into my car?? is there anyone here who knows that??
