So my Tercel has Racing seats, with Harness' in them. The entire back is gutted out to make room for storage and speakers. (rofl its crazy)

Is it legal to drive like this? lol. They hold me tight against the seat, but, I am not sure they are DOT legal.

Thoughts on the matter?

Determine if the belts have a label stating they are DOT approved. An issue may be the state requiring approved equipment.

first off, you only have to worry about it if you get pulled over. second, if the cop is actually a dick enough to write you a ticket for have a RACING harness, then well a seat belt ticket is like 50 bucks on top of your 500 dollar speeding ticket or other violation lol
