From what I remember, the rear axles are the same for the starlet and paseo. The disk hubs and the e-brake plates are different.

the axle is actually a tad bit more narrow so you can fit wider tires on there...but the reason i want the whole axle is so i dont have to buy everything seperately for the rear disc brake conversion. also it would take much less work to throw in a new axle fully assembled rather than doing the whole conversion

That's very interesting. I don't have a paseo axle to compare to and they look the same to me.

the tracks are the same so I'm presuming the axle widths would be too...probably just another "netspert" rumour. EP82 Axles are hard to get a hold of, keep checking on eGay cause sometimes they come up with a few sets - two shops in particularl, JHot and I forget the other one, but it began with a J too, have them occasionally

From what I remember, the rear axles themselves are the same. BUT, with the rear discs the wheels tuck in a bit more because the discs are a bit narrower than the drums.
