Angry PASEO Engine Lag

HI, i have a 94 toyota paseo 1.5 manual-
when ever the egnine is under load it lags unless i gradually increase throtle speed then thers no sighn of lag when in nutral and i rev the engine it revs up fine except for the initial secont of "reving up" it sort of sounds like a lawn moher when you first start it up when your reving in nutral and you can see the engine shake a good deal then it smoothes out i have tried a number of things many different fuel injector cleaners (didnt over do it per tank tho) i always put super in the tank i change oil often checked for vacume leaks cant find any im ripping my hair out becuase when i wanna punch it at a greenlight it just lags horibly and i have to back of for it to kick in. 1st gear doesent really do it unless i punch it hard its all the other gears
could it be my MAF i think it has a mass air meter but i havent found it yet o2 sensor maybe??
any ideas are helpfull

PCV valve is in the center rear of the valve cover. It has a hose that goes to the intake manifold. It has a 90* bend and is usually gray in color. It is kinda hidden by the spark plug wires in this pic.

Failed Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) might cause lag during throttle movements. It is mounted on the rear of the throttle body, has a 4 wire connector going to it. It has a silver cover, with a black housing, that you prolly can't see because it's real close to the firewall. It is in the upper left hand corner of this pic. This one will look slightly different than yours, since this is a 3ee TPS.
