well, put in the shocks yesterday, the front pair cost me $900TT (143USD) and the left and right ball-joints needed replacing. that was $450TT(71USD).
She's running smooth, need to change the back and change all the engine seals. hope it goes well
ok, thanks for the reply. Iam not much of a car genius, the ECU is basically the brain right, that determines top speed. I was contemplating buying a whole front cut, and swap, but I basically just need the engine. where can I get the ECU from?
You also would have to upgrade your exhaust - your Tercel still got the stock exhaust - you need at least 1.5 inch or larger.
If you could get me an estimate/price on the parts and shipping to Lakewood, Colorado 80228, USA and then we go from there. Sound ok to you?

1.5inch???? thats what my tercel is running stock, thats a dinky ass pipe size for a 4e-fte man. im sayin NO less than 2inch, also you cant run a 4e-fte off any ecu but a "4e-fte ecu" Buy the engine either in a front clip(if you get a good deal on it) or buy it with the FULL harness and ECU, are you going to run it automatic or are you swapping it to standard because you'll need shifter linkages install M/T brake and clutch pedals, clutch master cylinder. other than that and the re-wireing of the harness its a straight drop swap, thats a nice tercel i wish mine was right hand drive, i like the taillights too
