4th Generation weight reduction

I have taken everything out including ac blower motor and heater core that whole unit is gone. Even removed about 10 pounds of extra wire that wasn't being used.Carpet is gone the front enforcement to the bumper is gone. All interior has been removed except the drivers seat. thought about plexiglass glass windows. dont want to take the rear bumper enforcement off for saftey reasons. Anyone think of anything else to take off?

You can lose about 35 more lbs. by scraping the sound deadener off of the floor pan. Is your car an automatic? I saved 100 lbs. from my Paseo by swapping it over to a Tercel four speed manual.

Have you ditched the power steering pump, belt, and fluid lines?

I saved 10 lbs. by swapping a Tercel hood for my Paseo hood.

This is what happens when moron meets steering wheel.
You can't swap a tercel hood to a paseo without it looking all retarded!
No one listen to this guy he is full of shit!

Ouch, that's a bit harsh. Actually it fits fine and for me the looks have nothing to do with it. My car is a gutted circle track car and I'm enjoying the weight savings.

Is your gutted car a street car?
