Canada hello to all and sad news :(

Well first off let me just say hello to everybody on the forum, i just joined here after buying a 1995 tercel off of my cousin... first car . I actually got it a couple of weeks ago and figures the first week that i had the car the batter dies on me, so into the shop it went and i shelled out for a new battery. This car was my pride and joy, just last week i installed a alpine head unit, oh, and did i mention that he decided to leave the 6 inch alpine speakers in the back, with the 3 inch tweeters in the front , so now im driving around feeling like a pimp and figures the worst happens to me, i get into an accident. Wednesday night driving home from picking up Chinese food for my parents some bastard in a green van decides to left turn in front of me... well it's too late for me to stop, but i try anyways and i skid into him... and the fucking bastard runs off... i tried to chase him but the second i start moving i hear the horrible sound of my front bumper scraping on the ground. It breaks my heart every time i walk into my garage and just look at my poor baby sitting there. Before i was debating if i'm going to actually put money into this car, but i think this seals the deal, i'm going to revive my poor baby. I'm currently 17 and going into college next year (centennial college in toronto) for auto mechanics so i figure this is the perfect job to get me started, even though kind of a big job. I've taken off the bumper and so far what i see is damaged is the front bumper, hood, right turn indicator, grill, and after taking off the bumper i see that my rad is fine and there is a bend in the frame. I'm going to upload pictures for all of you tomorrow.

Thanks in advance for anything
Lamy

Welcome to the forum. You will learn to get your replacement parts from the junk yard as it will get expensive elsewhere.

Hey.. I know a couple of places.. that you can look into for parts. Obviously they are used, but in good condition. There is one near centennial college. I dont know the name of the place, but it is located at Thermos rd and bertrand ave. If you go east on ashtonbee, you make a left of Thermos.

The next one is Tiger Japanese Auto Parts, address is:

Tiger Japanese Auto Parts LTD.
112 Sinnott Road
Toronto , On, M1L4M8
Canada
416-750-8578 (call them beforehand and ask the part you are looking for)

The other is:

Big Japanese Used auto parts

20 Milvan drive, unit 8
Toronto, Ontario
M9L 1Z3
416-744-1517 (call them beforehand and ask the part you are looking for, they deal in cash, so no tax, and they do negotiate on their prices.)

if you negotiate with big japanense auto parts, don't do it over the phone.. or well atleast try not to, if you find their prices fair, and you want to buy the part go in person and ask for the part and the price and then negotiate. I'm just saying because they're extremely busy shop at times.

hey sorry to hear about that bro. I had to get rid of my first car too because it needed a new engine just after I got it

Luckily, tercs are many so parts aren't too hard to come by. You have pics of your ride? I'm sure we'd all like to see them on here.
