Question 1986 Tercel wagon almost redone

I have a 1986 Tercel wagon that has 292,000 miles. I got it as a front end wreck with 280,000 miles. I have put about $4000 in it to keep it going:

new radiator , water pump, fuel pump, starter and solenoid, brakes all around, new springs and shocks, muffler and catalytic converter, carbureator, right steering arm and upper and lower control arms. The body work was done at an auto tech school and has a beautiful pearl bronze exterior paint job and dark tent windows. I am beating the car up too bad to keep driving it day to day on the interstate approx 75-100 miles a day. I have another car now and wonder about whether to keep and do the interior next ( and the near inevitable ball joint and cv's that will be coming up. I have a hard time finding aftermarket parts and my mechanic has already gotten my life savings).
Have I lost my mind? Sure it gets about 28-29 miles per gallon, but runs best on hi-test and the front end work is killing me. The tires wear very well though and the ac is cold and the radio is great. I think it may be time to bail and see what I can get for it. Any ideas about worth or valuation?

I have an 87 tercel, I picked it up for $200, spent another $300 to get it running well. I wouldnt spend 5k on the car all at once, I would just fix the things that need to be fixed and keep driving it.

BTW with that amount of money and work you could have put a new engine in it with low miles and kept it running even longer.

I dont know... the way I see it, it isnt worth it to spend a bunch of money customizing it or doing anything other than routine maintenance and fixing things. Ya never know when it is going to need a major over hual or be scraped.

Its a great little car though
