Question Water Pump Replacement On Paseo 1992

Hi to all i an new to this forum, and i an looking for help ,i need to change the water pump in a toyota paseo 1992 1.5 sohc ,and i an unbale to remove one of the bolt and i dont knoe if i have to remove the engine mount and brackets or if ther is any other way to du it

Remove the alt and then take the pump extension off with the pump attached.

I didn't catch that. He's right, all Paseo should have dohc but it's still the same water pump setup.

hi thanks for the replay i change yesterday the water pump ,but i have a question for you guys in the intake manifold of this engine shows 16 valve but it looks like a single cam so it will be 16 or only 8 ?

16 valve is dohc. The sohc is a 12 valve. Just because the timing belt only goes over one pulley doesn't mean it's sohc.

How about some pics to clear this matter?
