i was wondering whats the most hp you can get out of a stock 91 tercel engine?

Depends on what you can get done. I mean, you get enough custome fabrication parts for a twin turbo setup and run a 200 shot of NOS and you could get some real HP outta that thing, for about 2 seconds.... ALways a catch huh?

From what I understand, it's not worth it. Drop in a 5EFHTE or a 4EFTE. Those are good enough to get at least 200 HP on.

That's easy, about 80 horsepower.
If you want more than that, then it can't stay stock.

well my engine is about 130 hp now the stock engine is 89 hp i want to get a cool air intake to boost it up a bit more.

i fried my last engine so they droped a 93 tercel engine in and i told them i number 3 piston was shit so they put in new pistons and rings and i ended up with 40 more hp. i think they saiod it was 50 over bored

well where i live the only dyno i know of is about a hour away. the person who did my engine work is not the best but the dianostics said it was 50 over bored. i have a more likely chance of frying this engine too. i havent had a chance to see what my engine can do because of the snow.
