whats so special about the acoustic indoction control system intake?I got this engine from an inporter in montreal,he only speaks japanese and i don't.so you can see my little problem.if anybody can help me please.

I doesn't do you any good here.
It has something to do with the crazy emissions standards they have in Japan. That's why it only came in the JDM models.

well the thing is that in the intake there are four louvers that open at low vacum to alllow greater air flow in fact there are 8 ports to the head i could send you some pics if you wish

Oh I know what you're talking about. It's a fancy little system to help improve throttle response at low rpm's. It's very similar to the TVIS used on older version's of the 4A-GE. It doesn't increase engine power or anything, it only improves the responsiveness.

an engine importer in montreal that only speaks japanese? bullshit. I live here, work in a shop and know all importers. They are 90% afgans. So I really doubt that.
