Want to replace boring stock headlights on a 93 paseo
Anbody know where i can find some after market headlights for my 93 paseo??? or if i can install the lights from another car( tercel)?? Ive only know about these cars for about a month. so i know very little. i know there is a lot of parts that are interchangeable with the tercel but i don't know if the headlights are one of those. Also i would prefer some projection lights if possible.THANKZ
Check the DIY sticky for swap info. Unfortunately, your not going to find replacements in the aftermarket other than OEM. Unless that is, your extremely lucky and get your hands on some Cynos clears from Japan.

whatever you do don't buy anything from a seller named "dotcomracing" on ebay. I bought some clears from them just a few weeks ago and they ripped me off outright and knew how to get away with it.

I bet they sent you lights for different car and had a "no return policy"? Or did they just screw you on price and send you OEM stuff?

They seem like they will fit, but I will have to "encourage" them, maybe even do some cutting. But the back where the bulb actually goes into the lamp is COMPLETELY different. The OEM has a real simple plastic clip system, where these have a wierd rubber surround...not even close. I don't know what car they were made for but it wasn't a '95 tercel dx.
*the original purchase was april 17th. They sent me (two weeks later) a set of left headlights...a right corner, a left corner, and two left headlights. After their "returns department" pulled their heads out, I finally got the right side yesterday...I said whatever, I'm done messing with them before I lose any more money...I had to pay return shipping on the first screw up!
I did....It's a long story, but after alot of aggravating emails and phone conversations I have all the parts now. Since their policy is that I have to pay for return shipping and I already made one return for $25 I might as well just keep them and make them work. I'm sure if I got a refund (minus the $50-$70 in return shipping total) and bought something similar from someone else I would still get the same product.
While we're on the subject...do you know what car these were made for? Where the bulb goes in looks like a kind of universal cut-your-own-hole rubber cap. The box they came in either says "Tercel 94-97" or "Tercel 92-97" I forget...but either way that doesn't make sense. Think they might just be for a Paseo?*
*which might in turn answer nightmarearcade's original question

Those are definitely not for gen1 or gen2 paseo. They sure look like terc lights to me. Have you tried fitting them yet? I just bought these on ebay yesterday. Its sooo hard to find these for a gen2.

I just noticed this thread was originally for Paseo lights but silverhawk is asking about Tercel lights. Those appear to be 98^ lights. 95-97 had one design then 98 and 99 had a facelift. You should be able to get a grill to match the corners. Alfradio did this on Tercel4. Look it up on TercelOnline for a complete how to with lots of pics.
that's a new grille in there too that I got real cheap.
they actually fit really well into the car, but I had to rig up a way for the bulbs to go in. I'm pretty happy with them, even if it did take two months to get them.

I don't think those headlights are from a Tercel they look to curvy on the top
@i am me. Yes you are correct. Gen 2 paseo is what I was referring to. I wouldn't be buying lights for a Terc since I don't own one.
Silverhawk, those lamps look sick. Nice work. Now I want to get mine in even more.
