USA 1982 toyota tercel coil springs

I am trying to find the rear suspension coil springs for a 1982 Toyota Tercel.

I have tried JC Whitney parts... Moog, etc....(searched Google, yahoo)

Anyone got a place where I can find
[FONT=Tahoma]rear suspension coil springs for a 1982 Toyota Tercel?

thanks - I have an idea of where to get them.<p>

20 March 2011 - these are the original parts # (according to Rodland Toyota, Everet, WA)

48231-16080 rear coil springs
48131-16100 front right coil spring
48131-16120 front left coil spring

I can't find the nomenclature anywhere on line.

I WILL NOT put 30 year old parts on a 30 year old car.

Any one out there have any idea where to find something compatible?

Check www.car-part.com I saw a couple of listings in Washington. Can't seem to find any new ones though.

There is a guy somewhere in the east that has Tercel parts. I found him via a Craigslist post. I bought a marker light off of him a few months ago.

I think he is in NJ. I might have his email address around here. PM me if you are interested.

As you have found out, these cars are getting harder to find parts for. For that matter they are hard to find period. At any given time I can only find about 10 for sale in the US via eBay and Craigslist. I have two first generations. One came from Long Island, NY in '04 and the other I purchased last weekend in Kansas. I live in Ohio.

I still can't find the one I really want. ('81, 4 dr, 5 speed w/AC)
