2jz-gte tercel

has anyone ever tried stuffing a 2jz-gte into a 81 tercel? and anyone have any ideas on how to convert it to rwd? need any help i can get

Start with a full chrome moly tube frame. Add suspension and drivetrain. Setup driver seat and steering. Add body of Tercel to racecar. Build trailer, load car, grab video cam and go to race track. Post vids of crazy Tercel busting 7 second quarters.

That would be awesome. Kinda sounds like these two vidz. At least the front headlight stickers still look like a paseo.

lol! I saw that and died laughing. Would it be possi le to without building an entire car? Would that motor even fit in the engine bay?

The torque that engine makes would do damage to the practically non-existant frame. The rear of the car comes with minimal metal as it wasn't designed to support torque or have a rwd axle. While it might be done it won't be cheap and may not be road worthy.
