3S-GTE swap

i have an 87 tercel AT and i want to swap out the peice of crap engine and tranny thats in it now, ive been looking online, trying to get a bunch of information about all of this, and in my search i found a 91 MR2 3S-GTE engine, for a cheaper price and more power output than my original choice,4EFTE, which i chose mainly for its simplisity of the swap itself, i just would like to know if there is anything i need to know before i spend my time and effort in getting this engine and have it not work out, would i need to do any conversions, or modifications to the car itself? any information would greatly help, thank you
