Its VERY ILLEGAL to do that. The idle up is near the ECT and charcoal canister VSV. Please refrain from crack pot repair techniques unless your trying to prevent your A/C from working entirely. I would expect you need your air conditioning this time of year. You can burn out a compressor with an undercharged system. And futhermore, there is a noticeable decrease in power when running the A/C and its normal.
