So we finally got the Tercel working Thanks for the previous replies guys They really helped!
Runs well but had problem with FUEL delivery apparently. We got so frustrated, we spend 2 days trying to find out what was making that damn noise...
It was that damn spring that holds the IDLE back, it was holding the car idle too high, causing this noise constantly. But the noise it self is caused by bad fuel delivery When we sprayed carb cleaner into 3ee intake, and turned up the crank, the ENGINE ROARED with POWER
So i figured that fuel is the issue, mechanic already fixed it.
Is this much smoke NORMAL in a high mileage Tercel? There was a LOT of smoke...
The main issue im worrdied about is SMOKE COMMING FROM HEATER! It did not do this before? What could be causing this? It happens when using Outside air, fan on or OFF it doesnt matter... HEWP!
Is it the muffler, leaking UP?? Is the smoke leaking from Heater itself? Is it comming through the firewall somehow?
Smoke comes out right from the Heater fan holes...
I dont wanna get Co2 poisoning!
Once again thanks for Reading my post

Really sounds like your down a cylinder. Smoke appears to be coming from either the header to downpipe flange or the exhaust manifold gasket. Is it running rich? Make sure the vacuum hoses to the MAP are in good condition and connected.

what kind of smoke is it? Does it smell sweet? Or does it smell like exhaust? Maybe the heater core is leaking, because it's cracked, or the hoses aren't tight, or the bleeder screw isn't closed tight.

hmmm from your first video, I would say fuel delivery problem. It almost stalls when you rev it up, if it was just a dead cylinder it should still be able to rev up. I could very easily be wrong though, hard to diagnose a fault from only 15 seconds.
crack the inlet line to your fuel rail with just the key on to see if you have good fuel flow. make sure you have some rags handy and a drip pan underneath. Then while it's running pinch the fuel return line and rev it up see if it does the same thing.
could even be something crazy like the distributor in 180degrees out.

Just to add, pull your spark plugs and check their color. If a particular cylinder is having spark/fuel problems, it will look very different than the others. Dry, black soot coating would indicate poor spark. Wet would indicate too much fuel or stuck injector. A dry plug with no tan color would indicate an injector not firing.

It looks to me from that short video like the exhaust leak is either where the exhaust manifold connects to the engine or where it connects to the exhaust pipe coming out of the bottom. I'd check/tighten/replace the O ring where the exhaust pipe connects to the exhaust manifold and the pipe itself all the way back to the catalytic. Also check that the leak isn't from where the EGR connects (you may want to clean the egr valve while you are at it). Failing that, it's probably where the exhaust manifold connects to the rest of the engine.
The exhaust from the muffler looks like you have a serious fuel/air mix problem, severe carbon buildup, or a lot of oil getting into the combustion chamber. If the car uses oil quickly, it's likely oil burning. I would run a can of "sea foam" (my favorite) or "44k" (toyota's favorite) through the gas tank to de-carbonize the motor and clean the injectors if you haven't already tried it. If carbon buildup is bad, the exhaust will get even more black and foul after you add it to your gas until all the excess carbon burns off.
Definitely would also take a look at the spark plugs like 96paseo suggests, they tell a lot about the combustion conditions and get you pointed in the right general direction for a solution. Google "spark plug condition" for lots of detailed pics to compare to.
Cool, Thanks guys! I did not know about ERG at all, i will check it out.
Replaced sparkplugs, they are fine, old ones had a silverish burn on em, new ones seem dry. Mechanic supposetly fixed problem but i havent tried the car yet.
Thanks again!
