Hey i have a 1997 tercel 2d stock. Just wanted to say hello to everyone.

I have a question regarding my tercel. When i go on the highway, the car seems to shake but not the steering wheel. The steering wheel only shakes violently when i take my foot off the gas. i know my car needs a wheel alignment but is there another reason for this? thanks

The steering shouldn't shake at any time. Jack the front up and support it well like frame on blocks. Start engine and put in gear, accelerate with friends watching for vibration/wobbling wheel/bump on tires. Apply brake, stop wheels then put back in park. Shut engine off, use hands to try and move wheel in wobbling motion. Report findings here....
