96 Tercel idle speed?

What is the correct idle speed? I also have a P0171 code this morning. Too lean at cylinder one. Thanks.

750 RPM for a stick and 800 RPM for an automatic. IAC and teh ECU control the idle speed on the DIS 5E. As for the code, check for vacuum leaks. Most importantly the large rubber hose going to the throttle body from the air box. It can crack over time.

I broke down and sent it to the shop. $377 dollars and a new fuel pump fixed (?) the P0171 code. They said the fuel pressure was only 14psi and should be 40psi. Just picked it up today.

Might also be FUEL FILTER, i had to change mine. I saw a 93 tercel video it idles at around 550 rpm. So it realy varries, it can even change if u put different type of oil. It just has to sound right, no loud idling, no shakes, and consistent offcourse.

Anyways listen to paseo hes da man
