Talking 4 speed Shift Points?

Hopefully gonna get tercel on actual road today, not just driveway. I got it registered.

I was wondering if anyone knows the proper shift points? At what speed do i shift it? Its usualy in the owners manual, i dont have one

Don't listen to the manual, just shift however you want. Shifting at lower RPM's will help your gas mileage a bit but these cars get great MPG already so its not a big concern. I usually shift between 3-4k but its really your preference.

All you have to concern yourself with is not over-revving in any gear (you'll know when you do, it's loud!). Even that is hard to do with the torque & HP curve on these motors topping out about 1000RPM before the redline. If you are aiming for efficiency, drive in whatever gear requires you to press down the gas pedal the least amount and still makes the car go faster.

Thanks guys, working well so far

but the CV is busted it rattles when accelerating and decelerating with engine

Yeah it would be eazier to drive if i had a RPM tachometer. But then again, in agresssive city driving, i need to keep my eyes on the road, people dont respect small cars
