Unhappy Door Locks and Rear Side Windows

Forgot Keys inside car ...
I also forgot all my documents, id and phone inside car too, and tools right after beach

So i went and i bought a screw driver and broke my Non fuctional driver side lock, now door wont open. at all

So i did only thing i can afford is

I broke the REAR small window on driver side ... I also injured my hand with the brick i was using, because that window is damn strong, we should make tanks out of that material, bricks bounce off

This is obviosly not my car

Now im trying to figure out why the damn lock wont open and find a replacment glass on CAR-part.com , does anyone know what this small rear driver side small window is called ? Theres too many choises on there.

Does anyone also know where i can buy new locks and handle? My driver side key never worked but the door opened, now it doesnt open at all.

Thank you for reading, and any help.

My car's driver-side door handle stopped working awhile back. I pulled back the plastic door panel on the inside and found a network of what appear to be over-sized coat hangers hooked together to operate the lock, keyhole and handles. One of them had fallen out of the place it connected to the handle and just needed to be put back into place. One of those rods went to the lock, so I'm guessing that one is loose in your case.

Godamnit! I shouldve just broke the damn window, i guess its some mechanism to prevent car from being jacked, cuz i tore the whole lock and handle out, and it doesnt open. I need a repair manual to figure out these damn coat hangers, thanks.

Does anyone know what the REAR Small Driver side window is called? "One where the passenger door is supposed to be but it doesnt have one cuz its a coupe"?

IIRC, thats called a "Quarter Window". The rods that connect to the handle aren't too difficult. Most important thing to check is the plastic retainer. The end of the rod will insert into the handle, after which the retainer will need to snapped on. If you've broken it off the handle, you'll need to get a new one, otherwise it will fall out and you'll be back where you started.

Don't let the door latch intimidate you... getting the door panel off and seated back on was the hardest part of fixing it in my experience. The metal linkage was easy to deal with and pretty self-explanatory.

If using a screwdriver and a metal coat hanger proved to be a challenge.
You would have been better off breaking the door window instead of the quarter window.
