Question Automatic Transmission Fluid ?

I have an automatic 1989 toyota tercel. The car has about 158,000 miles and I don't think the transmission fluid has ever been changed before. So later this week I'm going to change my transmission fluid + the filter but I'm not sure what type of transmission fluid I need and I lost my owners manual. I called kragen and they said to use Dexron III. What do you guys think? Should I use Dexron III for my car?

__
EDIT:
Also, how many quarts should I put in?

The Haynes manual says Dexron II. Dexron III will work just fine too, it's just like brake fluid where DOT4 can be used instead of DOT3.

MAKE SURE ITS AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID, manual transaxle oil will lock or damage ur automatic one if u use it. Brand doesnt matter much. The newer, and more expensive = more sythetic, people say sythetic is better.
