Hi-Amp Alternator - Stock Fit for 3E Tercel?

My alternator is going to need replacing before long and I want to get the highest output alternator I can that will fit without modding the mounting bracket or electrical connector. Looking for output around 80-90AMPs just under the limitations of existing fuses/wiring. Anyone know of an alternator that fits the bill?

Related question: Anyone know of a good way to add a fast-idle on-demand capability? I use my car as a generator with a 1kW inverter sometimes and need to make the car idle around 1200-1500RPMs for that to work. The OEM carb had a fast-idle step for ~1500RPM, but my new Weber carb only has one fast idle speed @ 2800RPM.

I got a 220 amp alt for my 93 Tercel, from Mechman.com, they also offer a 150 amp alt, direct bolt on, you do have to go with a different size belt, if your interested let me know and I will give you the belt size.

Thanks for the info and being the only one to respond to my thread! I checked out their site, but Tercel isn't listed under toyota

I think 150amps is more than I need anyways, though, and I'm trying to avoid swapping pulleys, belts, charge wire etc. I once found an 80amp one somewhere online that was a bolt-on w/ stock connector, but I have been unable to find it again. I may have to settle for a 70amp... Anyone seen that elusive 80amp tercel alternator for sale anywhere?
