Canada Help!! My '93 tercel put a piston rod through the engine case!

So I'm basically a starving student, although I don't start school until September I already am on the kd diet! I bought my car to put around town, get to and from work etc. I lived in vancouver for two years and did fine without one but I was moving to a much more rural area and knew I needed one.

My car's soo amazing, good on gas, manual, seats fold down so I was actually gonna be able to toss my snowboard in this winter. Now everyones saying it's toast and my uncle and dad are trying to resell it for practically nothing! Mine is a five speed and I know I need a new engine, so is there anyone that can help me out, find a decent engine for cheap? Install it for some beer or cheap? It's literally sitting in my uncles yard in Vancouver. I was on my way back from a grad in whistler when it happened. I got pushed into a can tire parking lot and the mechanics told me I'm screwed. I need this car for school, my shitty bike is wearing out from the summer and my back is hurting from carrying groceries home.

Is there anyone out there that just loves doing engine swaps?!

Pleeeeeease!

P.s. You'll be happy to know I'm going to school for my red seal in baking! So I could probably make you a cupcake or two as well!

bake the cake, then take the sugar out of it...oh, that wasn't the problem...well then put the sugar back in and take the tsp of salt out...that wasn't it?

You're a chef as am I, you know that you kind of have to figure it out yourself sometimes....take it apart and rebuild it...your own recipe is much more satisfeing...
