14x6 Rim Size OK for '95 Tercel?

I've been reading through various threads and such, and trying to determine the max width I can go on my Tercel without rubbing, changes, etc.

I found some Miata wheels in 14x6...tire diameter increases only by 4/10 of an inch, but width from 4.5 to 6.

Is there a problem with this?

Easiest way to find out is to see what online stores will sell you for your vehicle. I looked yours car up on wheelsnext.com and it offers 14x6" rims, so I think you should be in good shape with those Miata wheels.

i got 17x6 wheels on my 92 paseo and they only rub when the wheels fully turned
