USA how to test ecu on 92 tercel

here again, took a break a long one. need to know how to test the ecu. have no fire to plugs. all easy stuff checked or replaced. like the distributor, coil, ignitor, distributor cap, wires. still no spark. Next thing I can think of is the main computor the ecu? Also what is the board I see on the passenger side under the glove box about 3 by 5 inches long with one harness in front? It seems my ecu is under the ash tray held by two bolts inside a case? Is this it for sure my book dont show it.

Tried everything but the shop but a poor man must find a tree. Need the car badly for the gas saver i have far to work. Anyone jump in whenever with infro. please. is there any place in town that checks the ecu? Can it be ohm tested? I see one harness with I think five wires leading into it.Of course i cant crank the car for codes so this dont help. Turns over that it no spark at all.Like I said all else is check and ok all ignition parts are good just no spark or fire to the plugs. What else can it be but the main computer box or the ecu?? Should I but hate too buy another ecu and try it ?? I am out of answers. Never had this kind of problem before with spark I couldnt find. Please help if someone has been where I am at. The car stopped quickly not to run again. Started it at work drove slowly out of parking lot about 100 ft. and dead it went. Been trying testing every since and running out of things to try but a ecu??I have also made sure the rotor button is turning so no timing belt is broke.
