Hi everyone -

I have a 94 Tercel with a blown motor - the rod breaks free and punch a hole in the block... sheesh. I've seen this happen to someone else years back, which led me to assume that this particular kind of motor have some weak internals going on.

So, I'm looking into a swap with a Toyota 1.5 DOHC froma Paseo. Some research indicate this might be a plug n play, if not very little mods to work.

Question: Is this so or what is required for it to work okay?

OK, there is a need to reply to this thread. I was fairly new when I posted this thread, since then I have become familiar with the site and its engine swap stickies.
My apologies for this noob posting and rest assured I have gain a lot of understanding from this, and other similar sites.
