Help With '92 Paseo Speaker Upgrade

I have a '92 Paseo, and I really want to upgrade my stock speakers. Most of which have blown. I know that the rear speakers are 6 1/2's but looking through the forum, and google i'm rather unclear what size speakers to mount in the front. Some say 4" and other's think 5.25 fit. Could someone clarify which will fit without having to modify anything? And does anyone know a good brand of coaxial speakers that produce good bass and audio? My budget for all 4 speakers is around 100-125 bucks.

The fronts have a plastic mounting section that hold 4" speakers but if you remove the plastic a 5.25 will fit. Bigger sounds better.

Thank you! And buying any 5.25 will work? I won't need to worry about depth?
