91 Toyota Tercel engine swap question???

hey there, i have a 91' Toyota Tercel DX (Canadian version) 4dr, auto (3spd), it has a 3E-E engine it it, and has 289,XXX km's on it and is burning oil and the engine is starting to die....so can someone tell me what my options are to a "do it my self" swap on any engine that would be fast and sporty???and how much will it cost me ??? perferablly an engine with a turbo ..yeah

hello, i looked around for the 4e-fte engine and it is good and all but i have also heard that the 4a-ge engine is also a good candidate for the swap....but what i have been told is that it might/might not fit in my engine bay, or it will but i need to get new front clips or engine mounts, is this correct?
