Hi,

I recently acquired a 1992 Tercel and took it through inspection. It failed for a burned out plate light and wipers. When I asked the guy at the auto parts store to install the wiper and light for me he said he couldn't find the wiring harness for the plate light. Where is the wiring harness? Is thier one?

any advice regarding this is greatly appreciated

look at the back of the trunk lid..it should be the only wires there

92 has tag mounted to bumper.

are there even lights on the plate on a 91-94

Yes the plate is mounted on the bumper. My rear plate definitely has fixtures for lights but they don't seem to be connected to anything, it's very easy to pop them out with a screw driver. Thanks for your help so far. See my first post for more details.

Huh. Maybe the bumper cover was off for something and they didnt put the wiring back in place? Either that or someone yanked it out, because it should be right under each lens back there.
