Oil Filter Qa

Hello All

I recently purchased a 91 tercel. The oil filter is "on there". I tried to get cocky and remove it without the specific oil filter end cap wrench. Nothing happening. The space is not big enough to allow a strap wrench. I believe I found the specific oil filter wrench on-line. I need to verify the filter size. Could anyone confirm it is a 65 mm filter? If not what size is it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
MC

Yea, the Toyota dude who checked the layout design must have done it without an air conditioner. Strap wrench never works. but the screwdriver thing does work when you get really pissed with the stupid thing.
Up here (In Canadian Tire parts store), I found a little black plastic cap which fits tightly on the end of the filter, and you can then even turn it by hand, but if necessary a 3/8" drive socket ratchet can fit too. Cost less then $5 if I remember.
You should be able to get something like thaat in USA at somewhere like Walmart or a specialty parts store

Thanks Fella's Figured it out. We have a 65mm oil filter. Have one now. Appreciate the feed back. Otherwise I would have used the matrix37495 method, just cause it sounds damn fun!
