Need Help for 94' Paseo

Hi guys, I have some questions regarding to my 94' Paseo. The problems I have are as follows:



1. The fuel pressure regulator is connected with a hose to a little stuff that looks like a “filter”, and then following a hose connecting to the engine part. What is exactly that little “filter” called about technically?



2. I have no problem to start the car when the engine is cold. However, the engine will be down at lower rpm when the engine is warmed up. At first, the problem seemed to be resolved after I removed the hose connecting to the fuel pressure regulator. The same situation, however, happens again after one week later. What could be the problem come from? The fuel pressure regulator or the little “filter”?



3. A noise could be arisen when I drove above 50 mph while the AC circulation was switched to interior. The problem will be disappeared if I switch the circulation to exterior. Is that resulting from a malfunction of some kind of valve?



Could you please kindly shed some light on these issues? Thanks a lot.

1. the fuel regulater (the little canister you are taling about probaly needs to be replaced. change the fuel filter aswell if not done yet.

2. what kind of a sign are you talking about?
