auto to manual conversion

sup fellas...been a while since I last posted here...lemme get str8 into it

for whatever reason, my Corolla came with the 3E (1.5L SOHC 12V) carb'd engine with a 3spd a/t...that's standard Tercel hardware down here

now, I have access to a 5spd starlet gearbox, shifter and cables, pedals and cylinder, starter and flywheel...pretty much everything I need to do the a/t-m/t conversion...except for axles

I been told it's a direct swap and I don't need to look for starlet cups or axles

can anyone confirm this?

Yeap, should be a direct swap. Of course you have the wiring to do, but that's typical.

wiring? what wiring?

it's an AT/MT conversion I'm considering...I just want to confirm if it's true about the axles so I'll know if I should look for them before I start the process, or if I could just go ahead without them and it'll be fine

can anyone answer my question?
