Now then, if you guys would please help me with some good inexpensive mod advice I would be so thankful. I have a 92 toyota paseo. 5 speed manual, newer suspension, 170000 miles but well maintained. Synth. oil from previous owner. just bought it for a steal. but drive daily and would like some extra horse. Thanks alot Bob C.

Well, if you're just looking for a couple extra hp, you can do a full exhaust, intake, I think they make headers for that engine, etc. If you're looking for some serious power, then check out the options: http://www.phoenixtuning.com/toyota/tercelpaseo.html

custom make a cai not a short ram, header, custom full exhaust, brakes really hard to try and upgrade except for slotted rotors which are the best bet to buy.

ive never put in a coldairintake before..is it hard? what tools would i need? now then would it be worth the money to do so? would i save gas? gain hp? im in the process of putting in slotted rotors and new preformance pads. so the brakes are covered. i was thinkin of putting either a short intake or CAI in also. Also would like to put in some nology wires and possibly ...possibly a header. O yes, it will need a new clutch soon too. Any tips on the clutch? This car is pretty clean. its got 170000 miles but no rust and quite a bit of maintence done over the years. A HELL OF A GAS SAVER. and its got potential..what would u cats do? hit me back Bob C

if you haven't already, you might want to browse around paseopimp.com and the forums . . . they're not always terribly considerate to noobs, but they're a good bunch of guys

ACT and SPEC make great clutches for our cars and are cheaper then the TRD one. Look for the Vitek or Magnecor wires first as they are better then Nology. Nology is cool, but Magnecor is better. Get the Hotshots header, the Pacesetter one is garbage. Always use a Nippon Denso Distributor cap and rotor. Don't go crazy on the exhaust unless going turbo. Good luck.

PaceSetter makes a header

PaceSetter Performance Products make a header for the 92-95 (#70-1156) and the 96-98 (#70-1158) Paseo. Check our web site www.pacesetterexhaust.com
