thats a thought .. while your at it why not check out the possibilities with the 2jz ... people have a hard enough time with the 4a .. what makes you think you can even attempt the 3sgte?

Because if a pretty one like this can sit in a 95 Tercel snug...., it can definitely go in a Paseo. (Back Yard Productions DragOnFLy Tercel in picture 600HP*) I have a 4A 20 Valve in my Tercel and a 2J is possible if you got the funds!
haha anything is possible if you got the funds, its just what make you think this guy will actualy atempt it? its more like a hypothetical question then a tell me if it fits and if it does im guna do it. and a 2jz tercel would be hella sick if you ever got enough funds to do it haha
Can anyone who knows, please send me a guide on how to do the 3S-GTE swap into a '94 Paseo? I have looked everywhere I can think of and not many people have really been any help. I have a general idea of what needs to be done but I would much rather know exactly what is neccessary.
You won't find a guide as it's not something that could be easily written, Nobody can tell you how to setup the mounts, where and how deep to cut the frame nor how long to make each axle because none of the 3 Tercels that I know of that have 3SGTE's share any of the same specs. I highly suggest you rethink the idea. If you are determined to build a Tercel look into a 4A engine. You'll spend 1/3 the money to make the same power potential. Trust me I've been there. My avitar is a pic of the 3SGTE going in mine. It still isn't finished and the bill is still climbing.
hi my name is mike i live in eastlake i have a 92 paseo as a daily driver with the stock 5e-fe (auto trans)i just got a clip from a 03 corolla s with the 1zz-fe (5speed) im looking on swaping to the 1zz-fe (and converting to stick) does anyone have any advice on making mounts/axils like i said i have the whole clip is that all i need if not what parts would i have to get to make this possible? thanks-mike
Mike I've heard that transmission is of the same design as what came in the Paseo for a m/t. Your axles should plug right in. You may need to drill and thread holes for the front mount. You may have to cut the passenger side frame and create a notch section to keep the support factor in place. See 4AGETercel's swap thread for ideas on how he fit the 4age in. Of course you will need some custom wiring done.
