I got 2 tercels that I need the paint code from. Both unfortunately had their sticker (where paint code is) wripped off by the previous owner. I'm hoping one of u guys can help me out .
First car is a 1991 (BLUE)
Second car is a 1993 (GREEN)
(I don't got a pic!)
Don't know exactly the variation of colours the Toyota's have, but if you have the same year & colour, please post up your paint code.
I have the blue one. Where is the color code and I'll get it for you..

Open ur driver-side front door. There should be a sticker there, either on the door (lock mechanism is) or at the part of the car where the door lock mechanism mounts to.
What i found was this: (i think it means color/trim)C/TR 8J2/LA27
and (have no idea what it means)A/TM 672/C141
can someone tell me what 'A/TM' means???

my blue/green 93 tercel's paint numbers are: C/TR 6M9/FG27. If you leave your email i'd be more than happy to send you a picture of it for verification. Hope it helps!
Another good source for paint code is paintscratch.com where I get my touch up paints in bottle and spray can. Just select the year, make and model of your car and the color samples are shown with the corresponding code.
For the Tercel:
1991:
8J1 - Dark Blue Pearl clearcoat
6L6 - Grayish Green Pearl metallic clearcoat
1993:
8J1 - Dark Blue Pearl clearcoat
6M9 - Light Green metallic clearcoat
6N1 - Medium Gray Green Pear metallic clearcoat
I think , the A/TM means Automatic / Transmission Model

Thanks, but my car is a manual. Oh well. Thanks anyways.

Actually Toyota color code 6M9 is FROSTED MINT METALLIC,
and is nearly impossible to get a hold of a decent amount so
unless your fixing a couple scratches or touching up the bumpers
you might as well paint it a different color.
BTW neither duplicolor nor krylon carry this specific color.
