Question 5F-FE computer In 3e-e powered Tercel

Hey, Kinda new to da board but been in da Tercel game for a while. I have owned 4 and the one i workin on now i'm having i little prob. I just installed the 5e-fe ECU and now every time i start my car in makes this weird noise in the intake. i found were the noise is coming from but can't figure out why. It seems there are two tubes that run from the throtle body to this vacum relay. I tried re-positioning the TPS but that didn't help, do i need a diffrent relay or do i need to replace another part from the paseo to make this swap work, or is it possable to bypass the relay and just disconnect the relay let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Thanx,
Khemo aka K-free

An why are you running a FE ecu on a 3E? Is it moderately modified? Any other electronics changed? TRy changing the pcv valve? Is the Idle control valve clean? Check those hoses again. Could be a vaccum leak.

I'm runnin the fe computer because i heard it gives a higher air fuel ratio, and it brings the rev limmiter up. But i wen t to the junk yard the other day and looked at the paseo set up and it dosent even have that relay. its not like it makes my car run any worse or better it just puts on my check enigine light and makes that noise when i first start it. And yes i have a AIT chip in it.

Eh....on a 3E-E..you would see minimal gains if any. Remember..the vaccum set up on a 5E-FE will be much different than the one on the 3E-E.
