4efte - kp62 swap

Hey! I just bought a 1982 toyota starlet kp, I would like to know if the 4EFTE engine can be swaped into this starlet. I dont wanna get the 4AG.


Can I use the T50 tranny?

Is this a rear wheel drive Starlet?

I know of engines being swapped from a rear wheel drive Corolla into a rwd Starlet. What years I do not know, but I think it was a 2T or 3T engine.

Then get a 4AGZE far more stronger than a 4EFTE.. I think even a Turboed 4AGE would give a lot more HP than a 4EFTE.

Not really. The 4EFTE can take 20psi daily.

Yes, the 4AGTE would give more power than the 4EFTE based purely on displacement.

Either way, it'll be fast.

But...The T50 tranny can be adapted to the "E" series with just the bellhousiing? What about the starter?....I just need confirmation and iŽll buy the engine.
