Exclamation Idle control

Another question... I searched the forum and couldn't find any other info on this. my car is idling way too fast and I need to know where the idle control thing is so I can clean it or get a new one, im just not sure what it looks like or where it is at on this car. Or do you think it could be a vaccum hose, I quickly looked and didnt see any that were off, but maybe there is one i actually need to look for

There is a black rubber insert just left of the inlet on the throttle body. There is a set screw in there. Adjust that screw and then see is it works itself back loose. If it does, go get a new one from Toyota. It is cheap and should fix your problem. Take in consideration that my experience is from the 5efe,5efhe, and 4efte engines. A 3e may be a bit different.

The screw can work its way back loose if the O-Ring on it goes bad, that's my experience with it. So pull it out and put a new one on.
