Carrpet Replacement

I need to replace the carpet on my 98 x-tra cab.

1. Should I purchase a pre-fit kit and do it myself?

2. Take it to a shop and bite the bullet?

I'd personally do it yourself. There was an article about that in the April issue of The Family Handyman. Page 69. They said it usually costs about $200 and you can do it yourself in an afternoon. Such resources for carpet - as listed in the mag - were automotivecarpet.com, autotrimsupply.com, stockinteriors.com, accmats.com.

hope it helps!!

Depends on how much skill you have and what yer willing to pay someone else to do it fer yah...

Price them both out and you should see which way to lean towards...
