Check the EGR...

How about any of yer vacuum lines? Are they all good?
When was the last time you had the injectors cleaned?
Fuel filter?
Does it start running rough immediately after the thermostat has opened?
You could try some SeaFoam product in there and see if it helps...

hey there I own a 97 t100 4by4 sr5 she is my baby, it had 224,000kms and it has been babied its whole life, I was driving slow, heard a little hum, i noticed it stopped when I let off the gas. The hum turned to a light click then the connecting rod punched through the side of the engine. BOOM! Get a replacement used engine with 52,000kms. Replaced everything, clutch, timing belt, water pump oil pump. A week before the engine blew I bought 1100$ in Michelin tires, 700$ on 04' tundra 16 inch Chrome rims, 500$ on all the new brake components, rotoers, drums, pads, shoes, etc.
I think I am going to have this truck for a while!
Chris
