Red face one taillight doesnt work

hey guys my 97 3.4 V6 T-100 is having a alittle problem. i got pull over last night and the cop told me that one of my taillight was out, so today i went and got new light bulbs (1157) i replaced the light bulb but still no light and this is a brand new bulb so i went and got new fuses thinking that might be the problem. the fuse looks normal/good but i replaced it anyway with a new one and still no taillight...so im kinda stuck and in need of help

Same thing happened to me. I pulled the prongs in the socket out a little to make better contact and the problem is gone. What a relief.

Do you have a trailer light adapter on there? Trace the wiring from the socket to the connection to the main harness. It's about 24" from the socket.

Did you check out the socket to make sure it wasn't corroded? Do you have a multimeter to check voltages with?

check your connections...there might be junk in there...there should be what seems like grease because it helps the electrical connection....
