I remember seeing a post on someone who was doing a 4.7 swap into his T-100. Not sure which forums I saw it on though...

Superchargers are available fer install into the 3.4 and 2.7 engines. It's not a straight bolt on without extra stuff like injectors and tuning.

The LS GM motors are the easiest to do, and the cheapest. 4.8l, 5.3 and the most expensive 6.0 You can find these for 1500-3000 with all accessories and transmission. The ecm's can be set up for under 500.00 with a check engine light and diagnostic port. A friend of mine and my self have done 2 of these in a 72, swb chevy truck and a 83 3/4 ton chevy. Motor/transmission mounts are the hardest part. A radiator up grade might be needed for the T

When the 3.4 goes in mine I will likely go with a 4.8l there the cheapest and the most abundant. I would expect 17-18 mpg in town and 19-21 on the highway. Thats if I don't get lazy and go with a tundra.
