98 4runner 3.4 in 96 t-100 problems. Please help!

Hi I am new to the forums but I have a 96 t-100 3.4 2wd and have loved this truck since it was given to me by my uncle. Unfortunately it ceased up after a few hundred thousand miles/rear main leak and friend who didnt check oil.. Nonetheless it died.

I pulled a 3.4 from a 98 4runner. I had to change the motor mount brackets, oil pan, oil pick up, and throttle body due to 4runner having 3 wire tps and I needed a 4 wire.

I got it running but still have a few issues...

1. No oil pressure reads on the gauge but there is def. pressure.

2. There is a hose under throttle body that has no where to go.

3. There are several electrical plugs that I cannot seem to find a home for as well.

I need some advice from someone who may have done something similar or may know of any ways to figure some of this out to get my truck back to 100% Thanks in advance for any help this is pretty frustrating

I believe the sender is of a different series...you just need to swap it out. What color are the wires to the plugs? Do you have the 1996 factory electrical manual? That would really help you figure out what is what...

Do you still have the old motor? Just swap out the same sensors...

Piccies would really help...I really mean it.
