Shifting problems

It is very hard to shift gears. It feels like your stuck on something and you have to push through it. Going into reverse it makes a little grinding noise.
I have had the truck for 2 years and it did this from when I got it. I just had a new clutch put in and the symptoms are slightly worse.

Perhaps the slave cylinder isn't bled/ adjusted properly and not dis-engaging completely when you press on the clutch. The grinding can be stopped by putting the tranny in a forward gear before you put it into reverse. Out of gear with the foot off the clutch, the gears free wheel in the tranny. Stopping the free wheeling stops the grinding.

Welcome to TN and good luck!

Sounds like you have a cracked clutch bracket. Check it over carefully fer cracks...it can easily be replaced.
