Steering relay rod recall

Got this recall in the mail a few weeks ago. Took the truck to the dealer and they replaced the steering relay rod and installed new tie rods (included with the recal, no extra charge). I went ahead and had them replace the idler arm and valve cover gaskets. Hope this stops the oil leak although I see some leakage from the oil pan so will need to replace the oil pan gaskets soon.

What'd the valve cover gasket run you? I had a dealer here quote me $500 for just the left side when I had my relay rod done.

I've got a very minor weep and am not quite up to the job right now...

My relay rod broke. i could have been interesting but it happened while I was off road and was backing. I took the relay rod off of my spare truck and am on the road again. I really don't want anyone in a shop touching my truck. If they will give me a relay rod I will replace it myself, if not then I'll just buy one when this next one breaks, if it does.

Yes...only the 4x4 has the relay rod. The 2WD T-100s should have the rack and pinion steering rack.
