Ok, so i am taking an automotive collision repair class at school, and recently took my bed off the T100.....i found the frame was in GREAT SHAPE to be considered its a 96 and been through alot
heres some pics....
lookin good
and here if you notice....the factory undercoatin on the frame is excellent! even have the stock white letters on it still!
i am leaving the bed off, and most likely goin to build a flatbed for it!
dalyman, those are the RANCHO RS5000, i have them all-around, they seem to do alright, could be better if my leafsprings were in better shape.
Bam, In the class im gnna be workin on small things on it, re-doing the rear half of the frame undercoating, and what lil up front that is spotty with surface rust(not much).....and i am also goin to be building a flatbed in the class, along with....hopefully painting the cab!!
gotta get started on all this crap lol
Zuke...i'll sell it if ya needin somethin off of it, but the only reason i took it off is because the passenger side is absolutely screwed
holy crap his looks exactly like mine lol. even the tool box. does anybody know where to get the pinstriping? mine is coming off and looks like hell. and mine doesnt even say titan
i am going to fix all the surface rust before paint, and re-doin rear half of frame undercoatin, as well as all the small spots up front of surface rust
bam, his wont be missin any parts lol, mine wont either, i have the fender but im goin to fix the dent in it, and i took it off cause my fender-liner clips were half gone, and mud and stuff was gettin up in there and gnna cause rust problems so i just took it off til i can get that fixed
i have found a few small spots of rust that may be a little worse than just surface rust, i plan on hopefully lookin further into them soon, if its worst.......TIME TO CUT THAT CRAP OUT AND WELD IN SOME PATCHES!!
