Just wanted to get some opinions on this since you guys have them installed. I like the looks of both but can't decide. I will be using the Metra dash kit.

Personally I am going to go with black but only because I want the radio on the bottom.

what??? don't all the dash kits let you put the radio where ever you want, top, bottom, middle...i don't get it

This is the Scosche Black kit, cant move the radio position. And same with the color matched.

And the American International Kit courtesy of NorCalTacoma...This is the one I am getting.

^ Your kit is the same one as NorCalTacoma's. He just has a flip out receiver.

To get back to the original question...

I think the black radio and surround flows alot better with the two-tone color scheme of the dash. The line flows smoothly from one side of the dash to the other with the black stereo.

I got my kit from my local stereo shop. he was the first one to get the kit in my area. So he hooked me up for free on the kit. Just ask you local shop. They should be aviable to order it.

i like the silver only b/c it keeps the same color as the rest of the dash. but every one has there own .02

I have decided to go with the black kit for some contrast in the truck. Now I don't know which kit to get. I can either go with the AI kit or the Metra kit. The Scosche kit is not an option because I really don't like the looks of it very well. Which kit has the better fit and finish? The Metra kit has the pocket on the bottom and the AI is on the top. I have a motroized Pioneer HU. Thanks for the help.
